Some of the most gracious and generous people I know are Afghans - I’ve served their interest for three and a half years and I think often of how I would feel if I were in their place.
To be hunted while your family lives in constant fear. To escape to be sent back. This is unconscionable but I won’t quit - so long as there is breath there is hope - while there is hope we rest recover and wait for the next opportunity to advance - we never quit. Until we’re dead we are in this fight.
